Well yeah it's kind of a no-brainer to give more food to the poor

but it's sickening how much food we throw away in this country.

When I worked the homeless shelters, we did get donated leftover food,

and the meals that we served, anybody could come in and eat.

idk, I shouldn't have said anything, but wasn't expecting to be attacked,

and definitely not over personal appearance.  Sometimes I do retaliate,

but not always.  I get to go back in about 7 hours, and no, I haven't

really learned my lesson.  whatever.

  1. I also volunteered in a school, and those kids barely ate anything, then I cleaned a school, and I couldn't even lift the garbage bags. idk.

  2. most churches have food banks, I've volunteered at a few of 'em, and lots of them have cheap gently used clothes too. I think Hy-Vee here gives to them, and people getting a free meal can take home a loaf of bread, donuts, desserts, and usually salads.

I'm more rational today

just a combination of many things, social media, no free speech, after all the time I've spent, Phil's diagnosis, my fight for justice inching on 30 years of fighting, and seeing no light at the end of tunnel, thinking I'm doing it all myself, and can't get a simple reply of encouragement. plus I do everything to access, and getting burnt out so often, they made fun of me about that too, when so many people are like me.  you think you got me figured out, think again! I've decided to stay on my blog, and keep Messenger, and the internet, but no social media posts anymore, but I haven't deleted any account.
