just a combination of many things, social media, no free speech, after all the time I've spent, Phil's diagnosis, my fight for justice inching on 30 years of fighting, and seeing no light at the end of tunnel, thinking I'm doing it all myself, and can't get a simple reply of encouragement. plus I do everything to access, and getting burnt out so often, they made fun of me about that too, when so many people are like me. you think you got me figured out, think again! I've decided to stay on my blog, and keep Messenger, and the internet, but no social media posts anymore, but I haven't deleted any account.

ReplyDeleteMitch Haggerman was a big Cubs fan, may have been the guy that got away. ahh, I got too religious, and I do believe his family told him No way. but we met on a Christian dating site. At that time 2003, Cubbies Almost did it. My daughter's heart was broken. I don't believe she ever cared again.
ReplyDeleteNever had had one beer in Wrigley Field, or on the bus. pretty proud of that, I guess, and never went down at halftime of Hawkeye games to get food or whatever, didn't want to miss the halftime show. one time the band did a tribute to Michael Jackson. ah! I'll never forget it.

ReplyDeletehow many men have you spoken with online dating. couldn't even tell ya. some I met. some I turned down flat. just depends. some were too far away, especially when I tried finding writers around the country. shared some for a little while. didn't even want to know anything about him, just knew he was writer.

What about No Longer Lonely for the mentally ill, they had a forum, yeah but it was stupid though and would usually end up upsetting me. I don't even know if that one is still around. Well, met Benny, and we usued to chat and text on the phone, he was in California, he was a friend, nothing got sexual, until Phil put an end to that. miss him sometimes.
