Many schizophrenics, say, getting 800 dollars a month, do under the table jobs for cash, and don't report it so it doesn't Affect their check, and believe it or not they talk about it on schizophrenia.com online. DHS is something totally different from housing authorities. Yes, you have to report to DHS immediately, housing is done once a year for renewal. You might make a little money one month, and then the job doesn't work out, or even 3 months, and you leave and have nothing then. It'd be a lot of reporting, off and on, and if you call the agency, you might not get through to anyone, or have to wait up to an hour on the phone. DHS sends forms every month for you to report. Housing does it once a year.
