How to..type: you start by memorizing the keys according to which ones are closest to which finger. It takes time and practice, and you should start with learning words that are within your first two fingers. I took a class in high school, and plus did a lot of it at home on an old electric typewriter. Too many young people don't know how to type properly, and I think my daughter is one of them. As a writer, I would lost without being able to fly across the keys.
How to..draw: if you don't have an image in mind that you want to draw, what I do is just put the pencil on the paper and just let it leave a design, and when you look further at the design you just drew, you can make smaller images, or fill in with something that it looks like.
