My son was working in a sheltered workshop and getting good services, including good respite for caregivers before the pritivation of Medicaid. Now, he no longer has a job, is not getting a paycheck, because Repubs closed the sheltered workshops. The disabled have been petitioning and protesting since Trump got in office. When Repubs are voted out in the fall, Dems will reverse the privitization, and I hope we go back to sheltered workshops. All the poor and disabled will benefit again, and a better quality of life.
