a strange thing happened last night

 I got up out of bed between 3 and 3:30 a.m.

got a drink of water, took another Trazone

laid back down, but just laid there for over an hour

doing my head/ear exercises then trying to sleep

but I was wide awake and probably should have just gotten up

then all of a sudden there was the loudest sound

that came from the smoke detector in the hallway

and I looked out there there was a red light

like a laser beam had just hit it

one sudden burst, then quiet the rest of the night.

I cannot believe says he didn't hear it.  I mean, it was loud.

he's got me thinking it was an auditory hallucination,

but idk, I've never had this happen before.
