Phil, despite Union worker most of his life, votes mainly Republican, but has always said, Just pay your fuckin' taxes! he had quite a bit taken out.

 the IRS sends him a letter or two, not paying tax on unemployment insurance.

not sure why he never paid that.  problems with filing, idk.  I might bring it up.

never saw his paystubs or record of tax out in Spirit Lake when he was there

last year.
