Juliette Low at her wedding had a piece of thrown rice lodge in her ear, becoming partially deaf, after a life of already having ear problems and being accident prone. Gordon Low cheated on her then had a stroke and died. Juliette met Baden Powell who was forming the Boy Scouts and together they developed the Girl Guides that become the Girl Scouts. She had incredible social connections and quickly grew it all over the country. Juliette got breast cancer but never stopped her work.
I never would have been a leader for 4 years with out her story. Trump, you have taken back all of history tonight. What a shame.
