news on my son

Alec had early eye appointment today  in Ia City. They dialated his eyes and found he has cataracts developing and there is swelling on the optic nerves behind his eyes. They said a shunt malfunction could be the cause so they made arrangements for a Neurosurgeon who had MRI done plus x-rays. The doctor said tube draining from valve to stomach had fractures building up fluid causing pressure on the eyes. He recommended replacing the tube and a new valve asap. Alec went into surgery at4:00. It,s a 3hr surgery. Beth is on her way to stay with Alec in his room overnight. This happened incredibly fast and we are lucky that they found an opening for him. He will be back to our house tomorrow sometime and you can visit him then or Saturday. He will be inactive for at least two weeks.

I'm more rational today

just a combination of many things, social media, no free speech, after all the time I've spent, Phil's diagnosis, my fight for justice inching on 30 years of fighting, and seeing no light at the end of tunnel, thinking I'm doing it all myself, and can't get a simple reply of encouragement. plus I do everything to access, and getting burnt out so often, they made fun of me about that too, when so many people are like me.  you think you got me figured out, think again! I've decided to stay on my blog, and keep Messenger, and the internet, but no social media posts anymore, but I haven't deleted any account.
