The Quarter

Often outmatched with tokens,
my brother could play Ms. Pacman
for hours on one quarter, but now
he's using them for laundry,
the legendary, universal coin
bigger than the rest, higher in the air
when you call it, either Heads or Tails,
the change you get back even if you
could cash in all your dreams,
save in a big jar, and get a cart at Aldi's.
