I knew I couldn't write a book about targeting without mentioning schizophrenia, so it accomplished both. I'm quite proud of it, especially the way I titled each poem. I wrote many of the works in it while on my break at work, usually on the backs of envelopes or sometimes paper towels. It was during a time of intense targeting, and I made it into art.
