Taking Action

This is my first message to you after signing up to do a virtual volunteer job, now, and most of this year: Be an Advocate. Fight Poverty. After taking a free online class on Psychology and Mental Health, I learned that a more broad approach is needed in addressing problems in this population. Mainly a socio-psychological underpinning of what can be traced to a life of injustice, struggles, major mental disorders (as children, and then adults), relationship problems and many other setbacks, and one of the main culprits, is poverty.
