I knew one of us had to do this

I just applied for Phil to get health insurance.  Major accomplishment.  It took about an hour, all online, quite easy.

I went thru ehealth, and our household income qualifies for a tax credit,
for an individual plan at $70 per month premiums, $20 doc visits and prescriptions.

But they will also first see if he can get Medicaid, which I'm thinking is going to happen.
He's still out of work, and if he gets on Medicaid, he'll have to stay under $1300 a month if or when
he does go back to work.

This is one huge worry I'm taking care of, and we'll be notified by mail with a week or two.  My point of contact is Iowa Health Link.
Yay.

I'm more rational today

just a combination of many things, social media, no free speech, after all the time I've spent, Phil's diagnosis, my fight for justice inching on 30 years of fighting, and seeing no light at the end of tunnel, thinking I'm doing it all myself, and can't get a simple reply of encouragement. plus I do everything to access, and getting burnt out so often, they made fun of me about that too, when so many people are like me.  you think you got me figured out, think again! I've decided to stay on my blog, and keep Messenger, and the internet, but no social media posts anymore, but I haven't deleted any account.
